Meeting Times and Locations

As of November 1, we currently offer two meetings at our primary location. (We will add meetings as the demand warrants). Locations do change yet we notify those who are on our email list whenever this happens. To receive meeting notices, simply go to Contact Us and opt-in to the mailing list. We include a "deal makers" table at each meeting. Members are welcome to bring promo literature, to be placed on the table in the meeting room, or to be shared in the "deal-a-minute" promo period. (Note: If you do not own the property or have a contract on it, it is against Iowa law to promote property for sale or for rent without a Real Estate license. Avoid the hefty fine and do it right!). |

This is our main, formal meeting in the Des Moines metro area. Location: 2350 128th St, Urbandale. Century 21 SRE Office (click for map - across from the Iowa State Bank on Hickman (about 1/4 mile west of Menards). Please try to fill the south and east side of the building first, with additional parking available further north. We typically serve pizza and soda once we get a head count. Informal networking starts at 6:00 and the formal meeting starts at 6:30. Normally, there is a formal presentation by an invited speaker. Members becoming more successful in RE Investing - that's what this meeting is all about! Meeting fees: Guests - $20.00, Members - $5.00 Note: It's a meeting fee and not a charge for the pizza. Members who bring a guest get in free! |

This group is a "Meetup Group", called the "Central Iowa Real Estate Investors Meetup". See the website and join the group to automatically receive meeting notifications. We're currently playing the Cash Flow Game (Robert Kiyosaki labeled) for several meetings. As of Oct 1, 2011, meetings are held at the Century 21 Signature Real Estate Office, across from the Iowa State Bank on Hickman (about 1/4 mile west of Menards). There is no charge for this meeting. We do accept contributions to defray costs for coffee and donuts. |

Meetings will resume when there is adequate demand (5 people in a room, committed to attending) in Cedar Rapids at Panera Bread , located at 2665 Edgewood Road Parkway SW . To know when meetings will be taking place, you must opt-in to the email notification list and check the "Two Rivers REIA-Cedar Rapids" mailing list. Our first two meetings were at Skogman Realty, and Two Rivers REIIA thanks Erick Skogman, and Skogman Realty in general, for hosting those initial meetings. We've known for a long time that we need a National REIA affiliate group in this region. However, if there is inadequate demand, the time and meeting expense may not justify holding a monthly meeting. We need to have at least 5 confirmed attendess in order to pull this off.
